Hi there Just went to buy my smokes from Yamanto Woolworths using coins I had accumulated over time at total of $34.00. The attendant reused to accept the coins even after reminding her it was legal tender. Her excuse was her tell could not cope with that much coinage and it was not a bank. Clearly she just could be bothered counting the coins that had been separated and bagged. Instead I made my purchase across the car park at the tobacconist who happily accepted my coins. The Result of this attendants attitude I will no longer using Woolworths for my shopping. I used to use this store for all my shopping but since legal tender is no longer acceptable I will take my Australian currency to either ALDI or Coles which are equal distance to my home
